When someone says “tax the rich”, I hear from the government; “you’ve demonstrated you can add value, but I have greater knowledge than you so I know how to spend it better than you” From those who voted for the government; “give us other people’s stuff you promised us to win our votes, because we’re not capable of adding value ourselves” South Africa’s currency and exchange act is this in blazen clarity, and terrifying disregard for the rule of law and democracy if this goes through without being presented to the parliament . In this case, those proposing the law just want your assets and to destroy their country., they are the worse people setting an example for the less honest and creative to have precedence to develop their own laws. The Netherlands are already going this route. Stay frosty out there, minimise exposure, increase your offline sats and spend some time prepping your “oh shit, it’s time to leave” plan. The wolf is not far from the door.

Things Are moving forward with the init deadline coming around on Monday. Terrifying times for our Bitcoin brothers in South Africa, charting a course to escape criminal mismanagement of a resource rich nation, and now they’ve messed up the physical assets and infrastructure, focusing their greedy eye of Sauron on our digital assets. @ODELL good lock Herrman and Carl

Gm nostriches, happy Saturday freaks, feeling a world better than last week, but also refuelling after #blooddonation97, no.100 should be coming up early next year., Neo_rr suggesting I’m the one (or helping neonatal babies). Grabbing a quiet moment in bed with #catstr, but knowing there is marking that I can get ahead on before others wake up…….. not the way I want to spend my Saturday, but better than having to bring it on holiday with me. Press up and #coffeechain shoulder get things moving.

It’s it not about what the world my throw at you, rather you ability to take that challenge, not be affected by it and move onto the next challenge. Everyday reading some more #meditations and everyday I’m upstanding my place in the world a little better. “Whenever you fret at your lot; things, in a sense, a destruction” book 5, verse 8. image

Gm nostriches, cracked the first third of the marking that needs to be done so head down for the next chunk today, with a break in the middle to give some blood. 🩸 After a week, #wifestr returns from albeint away with her siblings, kids alive, house in one piece, and washing mostly done, but that the same time, waiting to be told about “all the jobs that have left for me to be done”. Reading meditations certainly puts situations like this into perspective, we can appreciate the effort of others and embrace the tasks we benefit others by doing, or we can complain to the gods that the world is unfair. Deep breath. No #coffeechain this morning due to giving blood, kids in the process of getting sorted and final day of “dad rules” coming to an end. Happy Friday freaks. #catstr indifferent as I’m the one who always feeds her. image

Gm nostriches, what does a government on the ropes need more than anything? Oh yeah, one of the primary architects for a lot of the problems telling everyone there is not need for “more chaos”. Good work “Rachel from Complaints”, parrot the lines you’ve been fed by “Sir Starmlin”. image

Gm nostriches, happy Thursday, awake early, packed lunches sorted, #catstr fed, breakfast sorted for the eldest. Minimal fun today as marking of student work to be done, 9 completed already and targeting getting it done by next Tuesday, wish me luck. Couple of days old from Dom Frisby, British sovereign debt market breaking, my eyes have been open since 2022, so many people still targeting fiat values of assets (or pension promises, 🤦‍♂️) Uk public spending is £48k debt per house hold, they are frittering away your future and the value of any Stirling you have. Dom says hold gold, but I for one don’t want to have the treasure trove sitting in my house, and anything other than a Britannia in my hand isn’t worth half as much (also fyi, those bad boys are cap gains free atm). Rates staying high, yield curve control coming, political instability (bro, chaos and boring are different, but are both bad), can’t see how unemployment won’t sky rocket, even those with “safe jobs” are facing the axe and where exactly does a sociology PhD go after getting the sack? #catstr and #coffeechain keeping me calm, day ahead could be better, but getting the work done will always move things forward. Have a good one freaks.

Ge nostriches, may have been focusing on the wrong resources to stack with looming currency debasement, energy shocks and fertiliser shortages. May load up on some more cans of hearty soups, and meat in cans. Be the guy they call a nut job until they come knocking on your door for help. Your other resources will be there to buy the depressed resources later, but prepare for the carnage before you’re consumed by it. Peace out freaks.

Gm nostriches, another day, more circuses to keep the unwashed entertained, with those in the know appreciating they are at an end, and from looking at the options available, the best we can hope for is a bit of charm and presence for Andy Burnham and he’s not even an MP!!!!! The discussions of going towards the “soft left” also make me wince, doesn’t make a difference what type of Labour you choose from, all of them think they’re better placed to make the right decisions with “your money” (bro, your record would suggest otherwise). Exit the system, they have no bread to toss to us, this will begin to spiral ever more quickly. We’re in the process of falling out of the G7, we’re only still there because the other members of that motley crew are similarly screwed. #catstr keeping me based in the peace, purring super loud, while the youngest cleans her teeth before a little relaxing and then off to school. My day looking “interesting” with assessing second year uni students’ business ideas. One term I’m not going to associate with them, “proof of work” the lazy little shits!!!

Great, honest and dark read. I’m going 💯 malice from the top, and good intentions from the idiot lower lever politicians. They know not what their intentions will result in.

Missed this from the other week, while dripping in Keynesian, double speak, nonsense, an inflation bomb returning to the UK cannot be a good thing. Hard assets only freaks. image

Gm nostriches, overall a good, if busy day yesterday, enjoying being the loan parent for once, even if there was still more drama than i’d like, but useful being the parent who can deal with, rather than create it, 🤫 Took a quick look at the news last night and things had progressed quickly in No.10, cabinet members breaking ranks, more letters submitted and this morning she requisite number has been reached, Mr Starmer, Mr calm, Mr No Drama is now in the thick of his procedural, no backbone, election drumming, no leadership malaise, and the mindless mass of Labour MPs see their gravy train of high wages and minimal work coming to an end. Giving me vibes of 2022 (not gonna lie, some of those sweet sweet cheap sats wouldn’t go a miss right now), the wild thing is there is NO ONE to replace him, all the alternatives are even more feckless than he is, he has procedures (and in theory a career as a lawyer), the rest have hardly got a hard day’s work and a brain cell between them. In 2024, the loveless landslide elected reliable Keir, this sailed the ship even further into the shit. Was this our “let’s elect Biden” moment and we’ve realised we made a big big mistake? GBP holding steady, 10y gilts screaming higher, GBP/btc about to make non bag holders weep into their bags of retirement savings. Blighty on its way to going good nighty!!!!
