Was in London for a couple of days. We really are throttling towards a cashless society. Not that we need physical money, but we as Bitcoiners, need to continue the education on the perils of CBDCs versus the freedom of Bitcoin. Grassroots level. Friends, family, colleagues, happenstance meetings.

Imagine a world where money can't be created at the whim of a centrized committee, nor by the extension of commercial bank credit.
Where we must all add value to receive payment in a hard money with no seniorage privileges.
The power would return to the people -
The politicians would once again be serving the people.
The civil servants would be serving the people.
Government would shrink.
Handouts would shrink.
War could not be funded through the theft of inflation.
People would be incentivized to add value.
People would be incentivized to think more long term.
People would again focus more on the family unit.
People would need to be more responsible.
Only those ventures deemed worthy by the free market would receive funding.
Zombie companies would collapse.
Diligence would be rewarded.
Sounds like a world I’d like to live in.

Very simple I usually think to myself.
Whatever about the previous devaluation when gold was outlawed in the States, just look at the dollar gold chart since Nixon cut the gold window in 1971 and it’s quite obvious how abused the dollar has been.
Despite gold being historically our hardest form of money, it’s been centralised for some time, it does not travel well, it takes time and expense to verify, it’s divisibility is challenging and it’s scarcity is not guaranteed.
So why when one humbly explains the properties of Bitcoin to those whom respect gold, how do those same persons not at least become obscenely interested to at least learn about Bitcoin? To at least do the research? To at least be curious?
Some do, most don’t. But in time, they will have no choice.
Whether consciously or not, they will seek out the hardest form of money.
