Into the Valueverse – The UK’s First Bitcoin-Powered Music Gig ft Longy, Joe Martin & Nathan Abbott
On Friday, 23rd May 2025, history was made at The Fickle Pickle Club in Westcliff-on-Sea.
Into the Valueverse became the UK’s first-ever Bitcoin-powered live music event, blending raw independent talent with the revolutionary value-for-value model.

💡 What made it unique:
Fans in the room — and around the world — could send boosts and zaps (instant Bitcoin micropayments) directly to the artists while they played, thanks to Podcasting 2.0 apps and NOSTR Live. The stream included value time splits, so sats flowed seamlessly to whichever artist was on stage.
💰 Result: Together, we raised 0.0045 BTC (~£375) for the artists on the night.
