I have smartphone fatigue. It’d be nice to ditch it for a dumber phone that I can use purposefully. Maybe that Commodore flip phone isn’t such a bad idea.

Notes may be permanent. My opinions aren't.
Superstitious people are afraid of going to Hell while not realizing Hell is right here on Earth.
I guess some of the preditions from the AI-2027 scifi are starting to come true. View quoted note →
I still hold the unpopular opinion that freedom of speech doesn’t exist nor can it exist.
Moreover: if the government makes it a criminal offence for relays to ignore takedown requests, see how fast they comply or go offline.
The true power of Nostr is likely in the “other stuff”.

Shipped USDT (Liquid) to Tetrapolar.
Another primitive is in place.
I feel like going through my favorite discography and relistening to everything with the lyrics open and AI-assisted researched explanations so I can actually understand the context and meaning of all those songs.
I don’t say this because I’m biased because Tetrapolar is working on a USDT integration. It’s the other way around: Tetrapolar is integrating it because I think this way.
Tetrapolar can stay BTC-only and have 5 users for 10 years or implement what they actually currently use and nudge them towards using the best money there is.

I'm not too good at design, but I think it's fairly usable.

Ideals usually have little to do with reality but are necessary for one to move forward.
Bitcoin goes down, my output goes up. I keep cooking.

Just realized that, at current bitcoin rates and dividend payments, Saylor has a 2000-year runway if he keeps selling. Crazy!
I need to go for a walk and hit that 7000 steps goal. Let me just debug this first...
3 hours later: "What a good degugging session!"
Netflix sucks but, talking about new movies or shows, there are rare gems there.
I haven’t read “One hundred years of solitude” but am really enjoying the adaptation. It’s fresh, visual, mesmerizing. And, according to critics, very faithful to the book.
"Too much drama on Xitter. I'll go to Nostr".
Nostr:

I don’t know if my tastebuds are changing with age, but lately every restaurant anywhere I go has stopped putting salt in food.
It’s like they’ve all bought into the “salt is bad for you” propaganda and stopped using it.
Even in McDonalds, wha used to be regular fries now requires an extra step: you have to customize it to add extra salt.
Grateful to @npub13dk3...gnvc for listing Tetrapolar on their adoption page.
Honestly, without BDK, building Tetrapolar would've been a lot harder. The library does most of the heavy lifting when it comes to Bitcoin.

There's something powerful in designing your own service from the ground up instead of trying to make sense of the hundreds of features you will never use and UX/UI that someone else thought was great but isn't. View quoted note →
I just love it how, in the majority of cases, I can now write my own software in one day instead of subscribing to a corporate one. It'll cost less per month to host it and will be fuly customized to my needs.
What a nice relaxing Saturday evening.
My ideal for Tetrapolar long-term:
— no corporate bank account, ever; BTC in, BTC out.
— no VC funding, only self-growth.
This limits it in a lot of ways, but at the same time will feel like a superpower if successful.
