I miss the Andreas Antonopoulos era. So many people haven't say with Andreas talks and it shows.

Saylor obsession should become a meme.
Ever been ping pinged around by government employees trying to find an answer?
Yeah, that's public choice theory working in full force against you. The root of libertarianism.

Does Bitcoin "need" the money printer at this point in time?
Like, if the money printer vanished, would the resulting economic tsunami affect a critical blow to the network?
So many ecological maladies are traced to engineered scarcity to keep the existing system churning.
David Sacks comments on the All In podcast tell me that when the rubber meets the road - policy makers won't protect our freedom or liberty.
They will protect their careers, they will protect the existing system, and ultimately will be incapable of acting on getting rid of things like KYC and AML for law abiding citizens.
The incentive to run and maintain a node is this. When you come into Nostr after 20+ days of being offline, have a funny post, and aren't getting zaps - it's on you!
Just went in and updated my node and had this thought. Interacting with nostr is all the incentive anyone needs.

Store of value narrative is "how can we get bigger pools of capital to buy and HODL"
Medium of exchange narrative (my favorite) "how can I bring value to those who choose to participate in the Bitcoin network/circular economy"
Providing value to one or even a few on the network benefits all. E.g. my node might not be an economic node without participation and interaction with other individuals on the lightning network.
The Times 19 May 2025 Bailed out banks on brink of bending the knee to Bitcoin.
When there's division everywhere, be a force multiplier.
The problem is at the US Sovereign level. It's a big God damn ship with a big problem.
Big ships take a long time to sink. But I have faith in the culture, faith in the people of the US - we will rebirth institutions to better serve us on a Bitcoin standard.
Bitcoin is now officially too big to fail.
Alright, pack it up and go home, we're done here.

All of us should be caring for our bitcoins way more than we are.
We are careless children playing with our Charizard cards on the elementary school playground in 1998.
