@jack @npub1ds3h...hzcn it's high time you added Bitcoin payments to Square Online stores. I'm not sure why this hasn't been added as a feature yet, but when I go in the Weebly settings for my Square acct - there's still no option for Bitcoin payments.

The way Saylor COULD be an attack on Bitcoin is probably a cultural attack. Start off by stacking Bitcoin in pub co to "hedge inflation" --> dominate news cycle, podcast circuit for years --> community lauds the strategy as novel --> distracted with NGU suitcoiner narratives --> bitcoins centralize, cultural values erode --> Bitcoin development reflects the general state of the user base, distracted/adrift from the roots of what makes Bitcoin sound Maybe that line of thinking is off base, but I can see how something like that could definitely happen.

They occur 2 or 3 levels above what the root problems are with the Bitcoin network today. Completely blowing out datacarriersize because things like slip stream exist - well slip stream exists because of cheap fiat credit enabled by $MARA pub co status & the incentives that are derived from large pubco miners. If pubco miners were exposed 100% to the free market, their incentives would be forced to align with low time preference & long term health of the Bitcoin network.

Can we trace the rise in spam on bitcoin blockchain with the prevalence of Grant funded developers? Where I'm going with this is that people are earning money in a system that must be a free market. If you are working on something that wouldn't otherwise be profitable, chances are you could be doing more harm than good. As someone who has benefited from grants myself, the work is mostly uneconomic in nature. Sure, it is good work and maybe fulfilling but I'm not sure it has a place in the free market.

The natural world we experience around us today is largely the reflection of the fiat economy. Mans ability to harness and subdue the environment relies on our connection to it.
