Did Andreas get his analysis of the reaction incorrect? Or was he justified in disliking the emergence of Bitcoin maximalism.
No, using custodial lightning isn't "purely sovereign" - but if you're using this service & self custodying Bitcoin and running a node - you have achieved one of the highest levels of monetary sovereignty that has ever existed.
