This interview with G. Edward Griffin, author of “The Creature From Jekyll Island”, has really got me thinking. I’d love to get some people’s opinions on some of the questions I’ve posed below.
Given that the majority of people in my country (Canada) and the US are still:
1) convinced that the right politician is going to be able to permanently stop the slow march towards totalitarianism and the establishment of a digital control grid
2) getting their news and education from collectivist-controlled sources and schools
3) disinterested in “what money is” and oblivious to the implications of the impending loss of a widely accepted currency that can be physically held and spent for the goods and services required to survive
I think it behooves those of us who know better to really start thinking about how we and our children are going to operate in a world where:
1) our main earnings are paid to us in a currency that is not held, but is purely digital and programmable
2) general access to information services, trade, commerce, healthcare and even basic internet access are subject to possession of a digital ID and an acceptable social credit score.
I’ve been watching this “creep” occur for three decades. The rate at which people are pulling their heads out of their asses and waking up to these dangers is currently too slow to stop it.
My questions to those who take the time to read this:
What are you going to do when all banks switch over to the new system, and your employer, retailers, and most of your normie friends and relatives are only using a CBDC, even if it is called by another name to get around the politics of it?
1) What would you do if you woke up tomorrow and received and email informing you that in 30 days all of your accounts are being forked over to such a system?
2) As a Bitcoiner, how do you plan on obtaining the things you need for you and your family to survive without access to the internet or vendors who widely accept Bitcoin?
I don’t have the answers. All I’m doing is focusing on laying up supplies and slowly increasing my self reliance. But I’m doing it on land owned by the bank.
I don’t see anything other than a prolonged general strike slowing this down. But will we ever have a critical mass of people to participate, who understand the cliff that we are racing towards, soon enough to make a difference?
Sorry for the black pill on a Sunday, but I’ve been thinking about this all night. As I post from a permissioned internet connection.

First stab at making beef broth. I’ll likely keep a couple quarts in the fridge and pressure can the rest for shelf storage. I bought a huge bag of beef bones (with sats no less) at the farmers market a few weeks ago, along with some killer ribeyes and ground beef.

SSH key importation is unforgiving

My wife told me tonight she really loves how many things I’ve taught her over the years. She said “I wish I could teach you something for once!” I said “Oh hon you’ve taught me lots of things.” She says “OK name one.” I said “Selective hearing.”
I’m definitely sleeping in the spare room tonight lol 😂

My employer came to me today and asked me if I could square him away on “Bitcoin stuff”.
He was pretty blown away that I already had a Bitcoin educational website built that I linked him to, and a full curriculum developed for teaching people about BTC acquisition, custody, transaction and security.
In five minutes I gave him enough material to easily keep him going for a couple of weeks, while he waits for his first signing devices and key storage hardware to show up.
I’m stressing the need to really understand the asset. And the need to stay current on best practices for the technical side of self custody. It’s not for everybody. Especially for people conditioned to using custodians for all of their investing and finance. So many people can’t even manage their passwords without relying on 2FA means of regularly recovering them.
I hope he knows what he’s in for, becoming his own bank…..manager, teller, head of IT, and head of security. I shudder to think. I hope he doesn’t rug himself by taking this responsibility lightly.
In a few weeks I’ll test his knowledge and whether or not he’s taking things seriously or not by offering to punch his seed phrases for 100k sats per set lol. Maybe make him number 3 on a two-of-three. Just because I care. Lol 😂

I was thinking today about the importance of “zooming out”. Zoom out on the charts. Zoom out on the markets. Zoom out on the petty bullshit at work. Zoom out on the little speck that is the biggest problem in your life.
We are hurtling through space on a beautiful green and blue marble that will be here long after we are gone.
Laugh often. Get outside as much as possible. Cherish and nurture connections with others who “get it”.
And GFY. Amazing days are coming your way dumbass.
