anyways, I think it makes a difference in how you approach endings with someone who has serious emotional problems. you can either react according to their own standard, which is hostility or some sort of perverse twisting of a heartfelt "thank you for the lessons but goodbye," but in the end you get to choose to be honest with yourself and honest with them even if it's painful to be. there are people in every area of life who should never have your time or energy, and especially if you're competing with them in the marketplace of ideas and winning lol.
