I was up until 2pm talking to my friend in Gaza, Israel shut the crossing from Egypt and the price of everything tripled before it was even shut.
Shopkeepers, money changers etc. in Gaza watched the Israeli missiles launch towards Iran and put prices up that morning before Iran even retaliated or news about the crossing being shut got to anyone.
Anyway, these are his kids dressed up for Ramadan.
This photo made me cry because I see the sadness in Nema's eyes and I remember when she was Sewars size asking me on a video call why they killed her best friend. Why are they killing us.
I'll never forget that, it's as close as I have actually felt to this conflict, it's traumatised me more than all the footage.
Children should not be subjected to this, no one should.
Shame on those who look away.
