This afternoon, while I was feeling sleepy, I decided to delete some old photos from my phone because it was getting overloaded. As I was scrolling through my gallery, I came across this boodle fight photo, taken four years ago at Dupas and Love Lodge in Pagbilao, Quezon. It was during the celebration of my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. The food was incredibly fresh since the place is right by the sea. Looking back, I'm just happy to realize that I've been able to visit places I never imagined I would. I feel lucky to have such kind in-laws, especially my sister-in-law, and that our families are always together whenever there's a special occasion. It's also heartwarming to think that God has placed people in my life who have allowed me to experience things I never expected. It reminds me that, as the saying goes, "The best things in life are free."
