After Nostria finished the initial discovery process of people I follow, I was left with this list of "dead" relays. A lot of "digital rot". Might be a couple false positives, but I verified them all and it's mostly dead domains, 404 and invalid certificates.

After discovery process of all my following, the result is that Nostria has given a timeout to all of these relays. Nostr clients need to be good citizens and help user's maintain their relay lists and remove dead relays. I will also help users maintain their following lists, making sure they remove accounts that are stale.

The kind of things that Nostr developers need to deal with... Makes me wonder which Nostr client added this to the URL value?

People I follow that has published their Relay List to Purple Pages relay. Many accounts I think are not being used much, so they still only have the old relays on their following list.

Implemented the "People" feature in Nostria, similar to Blockcore Notes. Work-in-progress for sure, but looks awesome.

Anyone written an Nostr Implementation Guide yet, or maybe want to do it? With AI you can do it fairly quickly, it would be a good source for reference for Nostr client developers. For example, there are two competing file media protocols, should developers care about NIP-96 or go with Blossom? Many other questions that are not really answered in the NIPs themselves, but this guide could explain how different clients have understood and implemented the protocol.

As a long time user and developer of a Nostr client, coming back to improve my Blockcore Notes app, I'm coming to the realization that Nostr is not what it used to be. The complexity of the protocol has just gone utterly too far for any reasonable team of developers to implement it. Working on upgrading Blockcore Notes with latest dependencies. Looking good so far, big amount of effort. Now that this nostr client is up-to-date, new features will be added going forward.

Considering starting a series of coding articles on Medium, Substack and Nostr. Is that something that is of interest to the Nostr community? The focus would be on building "The Perfect Web App", with frameworks such as Angular (TypeScript) and Node.js, but the lessons apply easily to React and other backends too. I have built many apps in my life and I'm consolidating some of that experience and knowledge into a generic app template, and I want to make articles that goes through it all. Is this something you might consider valuable to have on Nostr or not?

Hi friends! I'm working on a badge issuance service and just had a look around on the various nostr apps and couldn't find any that does badges? Is there any anymore? Badges are partially implemented on Blockcore Notes, but where else is it? What web clients are good these days?
