The biggest challenge will be YouTube. This will require a lot of innovations in this space. Telegram deserves to be replaced. It's still a "specialized" app in the sense that only certain demographics and countries it has wide adoption, but it's has great performance and capabilities. Different apps, different countries.
Specialized smaller apps and "super apps" are both important. Having too many apps is not an ideal situation, neither for security nor for usability. I'm building
@Nostria to be the app that I want and need, that I use every single day. Not just for seeing feeds, but for content curation, creation and consumption. Being able to have a unified app for music, videos, podcasts, live streams is great. Why I need to open Twitch for streams or YouTube for videos? Both of them have horrible centralized algorithms and feeds me content I don't want.
On Nostr, I get great suggestions for content, people is the algorithm. Then I can consume what they share, all within the same app, never have to leave and get distracted. #nostria
