Watched Green Room (2015), a horror thriller, directed by Jeremy Saulnier. A struggling punk rock band accepts a last minute show opportunity at a skinhead bar in the Oregon woods. This will let them earn enough gas money to get home. When they finish performing, they witness a brutal murder by mistake in the show's green room. Afterwards, they are detained by the cold blooded owner and his gang. The band is then forced into a desperate battle for survival at they try to fight their way out of the fortified club. Excellent performance by Sir Patrick Stewart as the owner. He usually plays good guys. It was interesting seeing him on the other side. 7.4/10 #nodereviews

Watch Year 10 (2024), a survival horror, directed by Ben Goodger. 10 years after the collapse of civilization, humanity now relies on cannibalism to survive. A violent tribe kills his father and steals the medicine his girlfriend needs to survive, a young man is forced to come out of hiding and explore the wasteland. We follow the main character's journey through a world filled with rabid dog packs and cannibals. The acting is incredible and the action is gut wrenching. Not one word is spoken in the entire movie. I thought it would be terrible but it was surprisingly interesting to watch. 7.6/10 #nodereviews
Watched Sinners (2025), a supernatural horror, directed by Ryan Coogler. Set in 1930s Mississippi, twin brothers return to their hometown to open a dance club and start a new life away from their criminal past. The opening night of the club takes a turn for the worse when they find out a supernatural evil has taken over their community. The film blends Blues music and horror. Themes explored are historical trauma, race and freedom. This movie was enjoyable. Lots of action and the acting was on point. Michael B. Jordan plays both main characters very well. 8/10 #nodereviews
Watched Bone Lake (2024), a psychological horror directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan. A couple's romantic retreat in a beautiful country home is disturbed: a second couple arrives and claims that the house was double-booked. The four strangers end up spending the weekend togeter. Many seductive mind games and tensions reveal that the second couple is not who they seem. The situation eventually spirals into a battle for survival with psychological warfare. I enjoyed this one. The cinematography is very sleek and eye-catching, even though it's a small scale, single location setting. The acting was solid. I wasn't expecting the twist at all. 7.5/10 #nodereviews
