As a teacher, not much throws me off anymore. But sometimes it’s still frustrating. Like today. You come up with a project, invest a lot of time preparing it, set fair and transparent grading criteria, and give the students more than enough time. Many of the results are really good. But then there’s also this: nothing gets done in class, nothing is handed in, something completely different is submitted, or it’s done at home by parents or by AI. And when it’s graded accordingly, indignant emails from parents start flooding your inbox. That’s not exactly motivating 🤍 #teacher #school #proofofwork

Ein Vermächtnis aus dem Sozialismus und der Gründung der LPG: riesige Felder in Ostdeutschland. Jeder Feldweg wurde eingepflügt, ein riesiges Feld grenzt an das nächste, erreichbar oft nur von der Straße. Spazieren gehen und reiten ist schwierig, denn über die Felder darf man nicht und dazwischen gibt es noch nicht einmal einen schmalen Grünstreifen, auf dem man gehen könnte. Zwischen unserem Haus und dem Waldrand, führte damals der alte Kirchweg ins nächste Dorf. Über den Bach führte eine kleine Brücke. Alte Fotos zeigen es. Weg und Brücke gibt es schon lange nicht mehr und zwischen dem zauberhaften Wäldchen am Bach und mir liegt ein unüberwindbares Rapsfeld. Danke für nichts, Sozialismus 🤍 #sozialismus #ddr
