Last night I shared my stream’s link to a group I have with some friends. None of them know about #nostr and are conflicted with #bitcoin and CrYpTo, but nonetheless one of them saw the stream and created a #nostr npub without even knowing what an npub is.

He might not even know that now he can use those same credentials somewhere else, in any Nostr client 🤭
One thing I’d be cool to add is right click (or press-hold) to copy npub for easier discovery of new accounts, since is a lot easier to tag in a post like this.
I see people complaining of why #nostr has so many shitcoiners, and other things not related to what they’re use to seeing here.
Here is the thing, that’s a good thing, it means that the protocol is growing in content and different kinds of folk.
If you continue to see content that YOU don’t like then you’re following the wrong npubs. The fact that diversity is introduced into the protocol should be considered a good thing, no matter if you agree with it or not.
Of course, what did you expect from a permissionless protocol after all? Your echo chamber will be broken, if you so choose to. That’s the beauty, you have the choice to say no because you create your feed.
