I had a dream that I was in a military base, going down into a basement bunker that one of the generals had used for years. During the war, about 20–30 years ago, he had lost his mind. There had been a rumor that a nuclear bomb was going to drop and at some point he recorded a message. In the recording, he was saying things like: “we’re all going to die… everyone’s dead… I hate this… I hate being a soldier… fuck defending my country…” For years, no one ever heard the message. Except me and my friend. Later, he took us down into the bunker and showed us the recording. He was terrified that anyone else in the base might find out about it. The message had been playing on an endless loop all those years.

I had a dream that I moved to Munich. I was living with three other people and my room was actually the living room. It had couches and a dining table. They put a single bed in one corner and rented it to me. There was no wardrobe but I paid the most rent because it was the biggest room in the house. My rent was 1000 euros. This dream happened because I started listening to too much techno.

I used to only listen to rap but unfortunately I have too many DJ and techno friends. They influenced me. Now I can’t stop listening to peak time techno... no...

I will hopefully finish my master’s degree in two years. I also want to pursue a PhD because I truly love learning. I’ve found an amazing program in design, technology, and society that includes a design research lab. I’m not entirely sure what I’ll want from life in two years yet, but I’m thinking about applying and focusing on the design anthropology of social media, specifically nostr. I’ve started doing a bit of literature review. Let’s see. These are two long term projects of mine related to nostr. I’m not as loud on nostr as I used to be but nostr is still very loud in my head.

I’ve decided to start creating content for instagram/tiktok/youtube, but my main goal is to build my own website around an npub and publish everything through nostr protocol. I imagine it as a personal website, but fully on nostr protocol. I’ve even been thinking about letting people comment anonymously on the site, where random nostr keys are generated for them so they can interact without even realizing they’re using nostr. I don’t even know if all of this is technically possible but just thinking about it makes me really happy and it motivates me.
