Reassembling the Social: An Introduction to Actor-Network Theory
by Bruno Latour
It’s a book that explains the approach of Actor–Network Theory. Its core argument is that “the social” is not a pre-existing domain but is constantly assembled and reassembled through connections between heterogeneous actors. Both human and non-human.
I will ground my thesis in this theoretical approach so I took around 40 pages of notes while reading and I know I’ll return to this book again and again over the next two years.
Continuing my mission to read every book by Bruno Latour.
