I love informational realism and the material-semiotic approach. They have important differences, but both schools of thought try to understand reality itself, including how we perceive reality, how we obtain information, and how we create meaning from it as fundamental parts of reality. Human consciousness cannot be separated from the nature of reality, because as humans we are trapped within our own consciousness. Reality and our perception of it can never be fully separated, just as the information processing within our minds can never be separated from the world we are trying to understand. In the end, how we assign meaning to things is a fundamental part of reality itself.

Yeah, you know what I would say? Follow your heart, is the number one rule. Follow your heart, like, 'lotta people might not see your vision yet. You know what I mean. People might call you crazy or think it won't make sense. Follow your heart and just follow it all the way through. And that's when you'll see you're making new ground and people will appreciate it later on, nahmean? It's really about what you see and you know, what you have inside. Everybody is unique individual here, you nahmean, so, you have something to contribute. So whatever it is, follow that and bring it out and share it at the table with all of us, you know what I mean? Reassembling the Social: An Introduction to Actor-Network Theory by Bruno Latour It’s a book that explains the approach of Actor–Network Theory. Its core argument is that “the social” is not a pre-existing domain but is constantly assembled and reassembled through connections between heterogeneous actors. Both human and non-human. I will ground my thesis in this theoretical approach so I took around 40 pages of notes while reading and I know I’ll return to this book again and again over the next two years. Continuing my mission to read every book by Bruno Latour. #vezirereads image
