@Seth For Privacy how do fees works with lightning/spark in Cake Wallet? I specifically want to know for deposits, withdraws, and lightning sends if there are flat fees or percentage fees (on top of on chain fees when applicable). It seems like withdrawals are the place with the most fees. I looked for documentation or blog post and couldn’t find anything. image

I’m very happy with how my Hellbender Wallet project turned out. It’s basically iOS Sparrow Wallet Multisig only, air-gapped only. Had a ton of fun making it.

BDK has really come along and is an amazing tool for building Bitcoin wallets.

I’ve started interrupting myself in the middle of talking to daughters and wife. I’ll pause and just talk to myself out loud when I’ve realized everyone has just completely tuned me out. Only sometimes they notice 😂

This is a bit of an advert, but I made a an iOS Bitcoin wallet that only supports Multisig (P2WSH) via QR signing. I made it for myself because I wanted it. It works great with Sparrow Wallet and SeedSigner. I named after the Eastern hellbender, North America's largest salamander. It’s still missing a few features I want, but it’s like 95% done. I feel like no one will ever use it except me. Even so, I was going to put it on the App Store but I’m not so sure now. I forgot Apple requires “cryptocurrency wallets” to be submitted by an organization/LLC. This would take me a decent amount of time and money on my end. All I really wanted was an easier way for me to install it on my own phone and share with others. I wish Apple allowed side loading so badly.

Anyway, if you have iOS and your interested in trying it out: https://testflight.apple.com/join/PuHVwJDJ%E2%80%A8 Repo:

The iOS App Store is terrible. The greatest feature Apple could bring to iOS in June would the ability to side load apps (globally).

Anyone using local LLMs for coding? For those that do, any recommendations on which models to use? I’m considering a big upgrade to my MBP (2020 intel) and wondering if shilling out for a M5 Pro with 64GB would be worth it.

Like every one else, I’m blown away with agentic coding stuff. Specifically Claude. Something I threw together a few weeks ago for fun in a few hours was creating a forked version of BlueWallet that’s testnet only. I haven’t done extensive testing, but it’s testnet… I use for SeedSigner dev testing mainly. No promises I’ll maintain this. https://testflight.apple.com/join/p25X8rXrBlueWallet Testnet

I wonder what percentage of the US population thinks “AI” and Visual Effects in commercials are basically the same thing. I’d bet at least 25%.

I’m a little sad the word “sats” isn’t used. Looking forward to making my first Bitcoin payment to a local merchant via square. I have a few in mind already. image

I wish there was more discourse on nostr about sub 1 sat per vbyte transactions being relayed and mined. Seems like bad long term thinking for mining pools. @Samson Mow mostly dismissed it as mining pool economic ignorance on a recent WBD pod. I find it hard to believe mining pools aren’t considering the economic consequences.
