I now have a local AI giving me a daily brief on: * Financial markets: energy, tech, bitcoin * European crisis score: where/what + projected short/long term impact * List of recently joined nostriches who still post after 7 days + topical summary of what they’re writing about * Colocated infrastructure health report (hardware, proxmox, talos, individual services) Some neat automations it’s doing on the side: * Sort and clean my Obsidian vault; looks for missing images/assets, lookup and suggest links between documents * An Ebay sniper for a specific GPU model set to a fixed price (currently only simulated; considering a DGX Spark instead) * Selfhosted Gitea (colocated) + CI runners (local and colocated), local model decides job placements * Go through a todo list of small jobs: Omarchy plugins, little helpers (shell scripts), selfhostable stuff to test drive Tailscale is such a godsent. A selfhosted searxng instance is doing a lot of gruntwork as well. Having a simple deployment target to whatever I’m building is also great.

I see all of you building so much amazing stuff.

I couldn't find these in a long time and only just now stumbled upon them on X again. I mentioned that MH370 video and Ashton Forbes a few times because I wasn't convinced that the debunks I watched actually debunked it: Wasn't one of my deeper rabbit holes but since I exposed others to stuff that turns out to be fake, I think I owe them to at least provide some evidence to that.

My ex from a 7 year relationship (we lived together for 6, 5 of that as a couple) is visiting me this weekend, almost one year after handing over our shared flat. We've been in contact quite often but this is the first time we're spending time together again. We both had our reasons to go separate ways but there's never been any bad blood between us. It's as if we last saw each other just a week ago with no awkwardness in sight. Both moved on in their own ways and now it just feels like a strong friendship.
