Haven't seen anything in the "stranded on a desert island" genre in a while, has it died off?
We had:
- Treasure Island
- Lord of the Flies
- Castaway
- Battle Royale
- The Beach (the island wasn't deserted, but we'll allow it)
- Lost
- Etc
Excluding shitty "I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of here" bollox, nothing really comes to mind.
Have we just gone off the idea of being stranded on a desert island?
Maybe being alone isn't scary anymore? Maybe everyone is autistic as fuck now and relish the thought of being alone on an island or some shit?
Am I wrong?

OJ Simpson almost played the role of the T-800 in "The Terminator", but was rejected by James Cameron who believed he was "too nice," and wouldn't be believable as a killing machine.
