Set up a buddy's non used desktop with Arch Llinux and Ollama recently. He only had a dedicated 8 gb AMD GPU so its not really built for AI but we're going to be using it to play around. Anyways I try turning it on today and hear a loud pop like a firecracker. Start to smell some faint smoke smells.
