GN #nostr! I am really happy with Nostur, it doesn’t drain my battery. I believe the next step is to re-launch a @Alby Hub instance. I still don’t fully trust their backup reliability, since I got burnt a while back ago when they changed Backup compatibility. I however need to have a good lightweight Lightning wallet with NWC in order to fully transition from regular socials to #nostr

Someone that is “rich” has money to spend. Someone that is “wealthy” has time to spare. True wealth is having the time to spend with family and friends. You cannot buy wealth. Fuck being rich.

Where is the best place to buy BTC and Monero with gift cards? Using the usual plateform I only see Wise, PayPal, etc. by using these you still Doxx your name to the person from which you purchase. I would rather just give a Gift card number. #asknostr #monero #bitcoin

GM #nostr, It’s Merry Christmas and happy New Year. Not Happy holidays. And by the way, my wife and I are sleeping in a Master Bedroom and not a Primary Bedroom. As far as I’m concerned, we are the ones paying off the mortgage so we WILL be the Masters of the house. The world is weak.

This song really hits home. It’s called “L’Amerique Pleur”. It’s basically about a trucker going through America (the continent, not the USA) as part of his job and seeing how humanity have distanced itself and falls in overconsumption. It shows that people are slaves to their work and for what? Here are some translated lyrics in English. The song is French Canadian so bare with the accent and slang. [Verse 1] Another day to get up at the same time as the sun My face still a bit wrecked from my four hours of sleep (yeah!) I take a drag from my cigarette Job's done for the vitamins And a bad coffee to look a little better I take the Florida Turnpike Tomorrow night I'll be in Montmagny Being a trucker isn't really the Klondike But you get to see the country (yeah!) Especially it makes you realize That behind the beautiful landscapes There are so many inequalities And so much suffering on people's faces [Chorus] The question I always ask myself But how do all these people Still believe in life In this hypocrisy? It's so sad that sometimes when I come home And I park my old truck I see all of America crying In my rearview mirror [Verse 2] Me, I'm hauling in my trailer All the excesses of my era The frozen overabundance Shot up, shrink-wrapped (yeah!) While the pious wishes slide right by And our thoughtlessness is sated It's at the bottom of shipping containers That the surplus can rot [Chorus] The question I always ask myself But what will our children do When there is nothing left But ruins and hunger? It's so sad that sometimes when I come home And I park my old truck I see all of America crying In my rearview mirror [Verse 3] On Interstate 95 All the dreams go up in smoke A car on fire in an exit lane A fatal accident (yeah!) And in the middle of this traffic jam No respect for death Everyone takes their turn honking their horn So rushed to go nowhere [Chorus] The question I always ask myself But where are all these people going? There are so many cars everywhere The world has gone mad It's so sad that sometimes when I come home And I park my old truck I see all of America crying In my rearview mirror [Verse 4] Another highway truck stop Stuck eating slop It's true that in the soup of the day There's hardly any love left (yeah!) We killed human warmth With the assembly-line and food chains. On TV another sick person Has just started a shooting spree [Chorus] The question I always ask myself But how do these poor people Make it through the course Of a life without love? It's so sad that sometimes when I come home And I park my old truck I see all of America crying In my rearview mirror [Outro] Yeah, but then again, me too When I'm rolling all alone in the night I sometimes wonder what the hell I'm doing here Stuck in the backcountry (yeah!) I think about all that I've missed With Mimi and the two girls And I have this fucked-up feeling Of being a stranger in my own family [Final Chorus] The question I always ask myself Why work so much Far from those I love All for the game? It's so sad that sometimes when I'm far from home Sitting in my old truck I have all of America crying Somewhere deep in my heart

Every time I start using another #nostr client, it feels like I have a fresh account. My followers are halved. I guess it’s a relay thing…
