Some of this mornings harvest. Too many to eat in one day, but not quite enough for processing as pickles. I had several plant failures and was down to 1 with a straggler. But the second weak one is getting stronger. What to do with pickles

Ordered a large pepperoni pizza, some boneless wings and small crushed pepper shaker from Pizza Hut. They charge $5 for delivery, and I tipped $7.79 on the pretax, predelivery fee to bring the overall delivery and tip to $12.79 for $50 total. Pizza Hut then outsourced delivery to Door Dash, and when that arrived we compared notes as I was surprised door dash was handling it. The dasher got a bit over $6. Pizza Hut and Door Dash got the rest of it. On one hand that sucks for the dasher. If he was working direct for Pizza Hut he would have earned more. But capitalism applies and Pizza Hut is free to hire that out to the lowest accepting bidder. Checking back on my text messages I do see where they indicated Door Dash would be delivering it, but I wish this was revealed at the time of order, not after the fact. It is reminiscent of going to a big box store and ordering an appliance for delivery and install, and them not actually doing the work, but underpayment whoever offered the lowest bid on the work. Does Bitcoin fix this? No. And worse, it fucks up cash tipping as well as dashers are less apt to take a delivery if the amount for tip isn't stated. What are your thoughts and experiences for this? #Pizza #DoorDash
