I don’t believe the “inflate their way out of debt” narrative. Inflation>social pressure>more spending>more debt It comes in waves until one day it breaks and something else emerges. Bitcoin is patiently waiting for the first turning. It is darkest before the dawn.

Bitcoin is easy to understand. Money is your work and energy stored for the future. You can choose: A.) money created by a cabal of politicians, bureaucrat, lawyers and banker that is guaranteed to loose value over time at an unpredictable rate. You need their permission to own and use it. B.) money created by the expenditure of energy at real cost with a fixed predictable issuance schedule controlled by no one and audited by thousands of people globally every 10 minutes. You don’t need permission from anyone to own and use it. If both systems operate side by side and do what they are designed to do, then holding B makes you less poor than holding A. Both appear to be behaving as designed. Overtime all value accrues to the better money. The trend is clear and the volatility is because of of the unpredictable rate of change in A and the learning curve as new people come around to the novel properties offered by B.

Everything is at all time highs because boomers are holding onto industry and politics with a bloody death grip at a time when they should be bouncing grand babies on their knee or playing cribbage with their old work friends. Generationally, they have made stupid investment choices like turning homes into leveraged cash-flows and accepting P/E ratios that imply decades of earnings just to recoup your investment. There is no exit strategy and millennials can’t help them out of their trap even if we were dumb enough to. That’s why they keep going. The ponzi must not unwind. Try a 50 year mortgage….maybe some stimmies. They did all that because the money is broken and incentives demanded they play the game, but now they have choked the vitality out of their children and taken away the keys to a home - The American Dream (tm) - from everyone who came after them. They had an opportunity during the cultural revolution to correctly identify the problem and attack it at its base. If they had, the world would be different. But maybe the problem couldn’t be seen clearly without a contrasting technology (Bitcoin) to give form to the black blob that is fiat by defining its edges in orange radiance. It’s on us to fix this friends. If you’re on Nostr you’re read in to the program. Everyone else is screaming for a political fix. Those will divide further between Christian Nationalism (The Hand Maidens Tale) and Communism dressed up as “UBI” and “democratic socialism”. Most people will get AI girlfriends and try to get rich on Draft Kings or OnlyFans. Bitcoiner’s are the only ones with a world view that reconciles the past and defines a humanistic future.
