Today is my second day without THC. I have been consistently getting high since sophomore year of highschool. I fell into the trap of believing that it was completely harmless and formed a very strong habit around it. It was time to make a change, comfort is the killer of dreams. Im well aware that there are many people who function extremely highly or even see benefits from THC use. I myself justified my addiction through this line of thinking for quite some time. However, I have come to realize that while I may be able to "get by" while getting high. The question is "if i continue this habit for the next 10 years will it help me reach my goals or make it more difficult." I am sure that this journey will not be without its struggles but I am extremely excited to channel all of my energy into bettering myself and my situation.

The fact that most of the population believes that grounding is just a BS hippy thing and doesn't do anything is wild to me. Our population has never been more unhealthy and inflamed. I would guess that more than half of Americans haven't gotten properly grounded in weeks or months. While i'm sure that grounding is not the only reason that our health is suffering, there is no doubt in my mind that improving the connection between us and the earth that we come from, would help the majority of people.

Like #Bitcoin, #Nostr does not need you. All this talk about adoption and user retention is pointless. Nostr is not a platform the was launched by a company that needs to grow its user base and cashflows to stay afloat. It is a permissionless, open source protocol. which means that it is simply an idea which has now made its way into public consciousness. If all of the current Nostr clients failed, (Damus, primal, snort ect.) the protocol would remain unchanged and ready to be deployed by anyone who sees value in its use. Today Nostr may be a small niche corner of the internet. But, as more and more people globally come to see the value in censorship resistant and self-sovereign communications, they will find their way to the Nostr protocol. Bitcoin and Nostr are both things that are useless until you realize that they are an absolute necessity.

Recently accepted an internship for a company which runs a medium sized REIT with about $300Mil in apartment buildings. Their goal is to issue a real estate backed cryptocurrency, they are currently building on Ethereum 🤮. I think this could be an interesting product if built on bitcoin or something like liquid but THERE IS NO SECOND BEST. Hopefully I can convert them from their shitcoin ways. 🫡
