This Bitcoin drawdown has been hard. I really got into Bitcoin into 2021 near the cycle top, I discovered @Matthew Kratter and @Robert Breedlove I read @Saifedean Ammous and was all in. I understood the problem that Bitcoin solved and stacked as hard as possible through the bear market and sold every other asset I had. I have always been focused on the long term but as we started to rally in 2023 and 2024 this was my first real experience of a bull market and with corporate adoption as well as talks of nation state adoption I couldn’t help but think that this was going to be a life changing cycle. Today sitting at around 60k USD I’m up significantly and my conviction hasn’t changed but I can’t say that it has been easy watching the drawdown from 124K. Being branded as “the Bitcoin Guy” amongst friends is great when things are going well but when the friend who bought at 100k is asking what’s going on it’s not so easy. All this to say, I’m not selling, I’m still stacking. I know this is all very fiat brained but it’s real and Bitcoin truly does test you and only those with high conviction and low time preference will survive.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen
