Three days ago, we ate at a restaurant in Chernihiv, one block away from today's Russian cruise missile attack which killed two 15-year-old girls and injured at least 24 others, including four children.

Despite the air raid alert and announcements of a heightened threat, people remained on the platform, Ukrainian railways added.

Near complete blackout and water shutoff in Kyiv due to attacks on energy infrastructure. Subways are not running. Massive queues for buses. Traffic jams everywhere as people try to get home. Businesses running on generators, candlelight/flashlights, or just closed.

Scheduled long power outages for energy conservation has begun in Kyiv. Elevators and subways non-operational. A lot of stair climbing needed to get to our high floor apartment. We've got a power backup system installed so we have lights, running refrigerator, and can charge our devices, but many don't have that luxury.

We wanted to fill up on gas tonight since our car is at half tank and we usually do it to be prepared in case we need to escape at a moment's notice. Two gas stations that we visited in Kyiv shut down in fear of being attacked. Tomorrow is another day, I guess.

An hour after dropping my wife off at her office, a Russian drone struck the Security Service headquarters one minute down the street. I could hear the explosion from home. She, her team, and her office are fine. Several people were hospitalized and the restaurant next door was heavily damaged.

An air raid alert was activated in Kyiv at around 3 p.m. local time, followed by explosions in the city center about half an hour later.

@GrapheneOS @Final My precise GPS location on GrapheneOS Pixel 9 Pro can't be found occasionally while I'm in Kyiv, Ukraine, rendering Google Maps, Waze, and other apps that require precise location unusable. My theory is that the Ukrainian military is jamming the signals when there's an imminent attack, which is confirmed when checking my wife's iPhone at the same time. However, there are times when there isn't an attack and my wife's iPhone can get the precise GPS location but my GrapheneOS can't. I've tried changing different servers and sources on various location settings menus, as well as restarting my phone, without luck. Any ideas?
