Big commitment step for me: I integrated nostr into my business site as a protocol-aware layer. Starting to introduce people to how shifting from platforms to protocols can support mental wellbeing and autonomy - with an AI Personal Utility Client npub that holds presence, not engagement. @iiadigitalshift Relay inconsistency is making the visibility a tad unpredictable but the intent holds. Hope this puts to rest all the Signal privacy things though. Signal is the most secure messaging app in the world. It isn’t of course all that’s used, nor is it recommended for anything that’s actually sensitive, or lengthy comms. This is a mess but I’d expect nothing more from this Admin and our global standing. Hope it helps RevGen for Signal View quoted note →

Watching Breaking the Bird episode 3 and it’s making me laugh a tad. “He didn’t ask me to stay..” “I was mortified…” Ymbj. But they aren’t.

@rabble catching up on episode 3. Obama at the toast lectern on a WHCA laptop is 🤌🏾Intersting that Biz was so apolitical. Understandable.

My mom did this all my life until she retired 5 years ago 🩷 She worked as a midnight nurse . This sleep schedule allowed her to have days to herself, pick my brother/me up from school, then she’d sleep from 7-10p before work at night. View quoted note →

Just learned that a beautiful dancer I worked with on the national tour of Lion King died in a boating accident. So talented. Such a kind and gentle person. ❤️‍🩹✝️

@Evan watching/listening to Common Side Effects while getting some brunch and it is funny ☺️Ngl tho I would love for someone to nonchalantly say to me “get me something by the end of Q3 and I’ll give you my beach house.”

A proof of possibly Personal Utility Client: Using it as a tool to increase consciousness within the circles I’m in re: the importance of fostering digital wellbeing through choice + non addictive tech. Right now, it runs on GPT. Its limited. A Personal Utility Client could be nostr native or integrate with Nostr though.

Just spent like 2 hours writing web copy for my org. The last time I did that a few weeks ago it was about language access. This one is about AI and mental autonomy. I’ll note it on Habla ✅

@jb55 damus is my favorite client to see notes from people I follow/who they engage with, always has been, but for some reason it doesn’t capture them all. Not a criticism so much as it’s why I end up opening a different client; to make sure I’m seeing what they note. Like this is NVK via my Damus view on the left and NVK via my nostur view on the right. A photo is missing on the left. Checked and he’s connected to the Damus relay so not sure what’s what. Just relaying

Agree. I follow like 155ish people and even that’s a lot for me. Some of those people aren’t active/seldom active anymore but their presence is a reminder of that nostr missed key engagement moments along the way. Activists from Oslo Freedom Forum A few GenZ sweethearts A brilliant/kind hearted couple from the og Twitter days Etc View quoted note →

Oof. Here’s to the best and the worst not showing itself yet to me on nostr. Would be a fools errand if they ever do. View quoted note →
