Today, like every June, students in France sat for the philosophy exam. The two essay questions this year: - Do we control our words? ("Avons-nous la maîtrise de nos paroles ?") - Can we be happy when others are not? ("Peut-on être heureux quand les autres ne le sont pas ?") 4 hours. You and the page. This kind of exercise should be mandatory, in particular in the age of LLMs. It's not about "how smart are you?" or "did you choose the right answer?", but whether you can think coherently and mount your own line of reasoning. A muscle people are going to have to use lest it atrophy.

I keep hearing that agents are much more effective with statically typed languages, but have seen no evidence that's true.

a "conversation" with an LLM is an anthropomorphism. a chat should re-render the context at every turn, so the LLM only ever sees a system prompt, a context message, and your message.

fwiw Elixir always been S-tier at docs, and its all of a sudden paying off big. like I can call 'Code.fetch_docs(module)' and get the docs at runtime. so I can generate skills or let the LLM get context on the fly. View quoted note →

really starting to feel like a coordinated campaign with quantum fear as Trojan horse. the fact that we have bip360 is _insanely_ proactive given the current risk quantum poses. Saylor and starboy can fork off at their leisure. View quoted note →

Like python, elixir can fetch docs from bytecode at runtime, so now I have an LLM creating modules, then creating skills from those modules' docs, so it can then create new more complex modules and so on. autonomy loop 🌀

help me understand "agent skills" . we went through MCP, ACP, all sorts of designs and frameworks to land on: markdown files in a folder?

i never liked or used reddit much, so moltbook is not landing for me. it's slop-ception on a centralized platform. icymi twitter has been agent bots talking to each other for years.
