Another thing I may have changed my mind on. I was frustrated that @jack and Square aren’t having bitcoin payments automatically turned on for all merchants on Nov 10th. However, bitcoin probably doesn’t win if it is always operating behind the scenes. If I can pay with bitcoin but the merchant doesn’t even know, does that help adoption? Instead, if merchants have to opt in that means they have bitcoiner in their ear and those that do opt in will have loyal Bitcoin customers So maybe the opt in method is best for Bitcoin after all.
