The number of posts saying “I rolled dice and that saved me” or “if I hadn’t done XYZ I would have lost everything.” Dude 1,000 total bitcoin have moved. You have to be extremely unlucky to be one of the ones hit.

I get this sense that VERY few people were actually affected by the coldcard vulnerability. Is that true?

Don’t trust, verify. (Except when generating seed phrases which just so happens to be the foundation of the entire network)

Reading people’s reactions to the coldcard news is scary. People have no idea how seed phrases work. This could get really ugly. Many many people won’t move their coins, and many others will think “switching devices” with same seed phrase solves the problem.
