GM! Just finished reading "The Tipping Point" by Malcom Gladwell. Obviously, since we are on NOSTR, there are some insane overlaps. The Law of the Few: you need only a few specific people to make an idea or thing spread like wildfire. A range of people are needed that are from being connected with social people, all the way to hyper social people that know everyone. Stickiness Factor: how well and long does an epidemic of an idea stay over time. Context: changing certain things in an idea epidemic can it make it go parabolical or die out. Removing Graffiti from the subway leads to reduced crime-rate. Experimentation: Trying out new things doesn't lead most of the time to addictive behaviour, 99% of the time. It should be encouraged to experiment instead of preventing. For some, the book might have some obvious statements, they easy readability and compelling points make it worth to read. I would love to hear/read Malcom Gladwells opinion about NOSTR and Bitcoin and how he would apply these things to those topics. Maybe we are currently witnessing a Tipping Point?
