How likely do you guys think this will happen? I heard an interview with Alex @Gladstein (@Amethyst won't let me tag) some months ago that suggested this may not be entirely possible.. there is still problem solving to be done if I am not mistaken related to both onchain and lightning limitations. He might have been talking about alternative innovative paths explored by Spark and/or Ark etc. helping tackling that. I might have to relisten for comprehension. It was a debate with this guy who was really poo pooing ok Cashu and lightening, but it was almost clear he'd was still talking about the tech from 5 years ago and wasn't immersed in it. He had some kind of alternative solution to lightening but it was clea that he wasn't building it either. I am kind ranting here lol... But happy to hear any thoughts on the original question.
