So this is kind of why.... I guess.... I was hearing and being open to the idea that the direction I have been imagining and wishing for may actually not be.... It was all being vague anyways.... The likelyhood of a giant reroute and the next chapter opening arriving as a total plot twist, something completely different than imagined... though just the same, the fated path.
Still at the liminal.... But it is also a preparation time.
It's super hard to see inside the fog.
And it sort of requires being aware and not to tax the nervous system in sympathetic reaction because you can not see, but hold the tension in relaxation in between a deep inner knowing that what must be seen will be seen when it is meant to be seen and what can be seen and done now should take priority of doing while anticipating a bigger revalation on the horizon in divine timing. But prep now.
Intention is key too.
It is easy to forget when the minutia of each moment and day is so loud, so fast paced, so easily distracting, swaying your center.
Balance.
Breathe.
Stillness.
Slowness.
Observation.
Contemplation.

Both are pieces of the same story: cryptographic proof that the pseudonymous GitHub account `switck` — which maintains the crypto library behind Coldcard hardware wallets — is actually Peter D. Gray, CTO of Coinkite.

It's a one-liner that runs a verification and prints results. In plain terms, the command:
1. Imports Peter Gray's public GPG key from `github.com/doc-hex.gpg`
2. Clones the `switck/libngu` repo
3. Loops through every commit authored by the `switck` account and counts how many were signed by Gray's key (fingerprint `A004C9BC...C2BE5D7C`)
4. Then verifies one specific commit, `f19de05`, labeled the "RNG-selection commit"
The output:
> `switck commits signed by Peter Gray's key: 56`
and for `f19de05`:
> `Good signature from "Peter D. Gray (Personal) <peter@conalgo.com>"` — with the key marked `[expired]` (it expired 2023-05-28, which is why gpg adds the "key has expired" note, but the signature itself is cryptographically good).
So it shows 56 commits made under the "switck" name were signed with Gray's personal key — including the commit that selected the random-number-generation behavior at the heart of the Coldcard entropy vulnerability.

James O'Beirne's writeup makes the identity claim rigorously. The headline finding: 58 commits authored as Switch carry valid GPG signatures made with doc-hex's personal key, the same key that signs doc-hex's Peter D. Gray commits in the same repo, interleaved in time [github](

Key evidence:
- **One key, two names, same weeks.** The subkey signs commits authored as both "Switck" and "Peter D. Gray" in the same months (e.g. February 2021 has 23 Switck commits and 5 Peter D. Gray commits under the identical key).
- **switck's own keyring is empty** — GitHub shows "hasn't uploaded any GPG keys" — so the signatures only verify against Gray's published key.
- **Coldcard production firmware depends on switck/libngu** as a submodule, so this is Coinkite's shipping crypto library living under a personal pseudonym.
- **doc-hex openly maintains the repo** — opening issues, answering as maintainer, and pushing PR commits that "switck" then merges.
- A merge commit references a local ssh remote alias named `git-switck`, i.e. one person operating the switck remote from the machine holding Gray's key.
O'Beirne then works through and rules out the obvious alternative explanations. The strongest is the *rebase artifact* theory (that Gray merely rebased and re-signed someone else's commits), which he dismisses on both mechanism and empirical tests: signatures can't survive a rebase, the committer field is always `switck` not Peter Gray, author-time equals commit-time on all 77 signed commits, and signature timestamps are contemporaneous with each commit across 3.5 years rather than clustered at one re-signing moment. Key-sharing and forgery collapse into the same conclusion since both would require the private key. His summary: one person, two aliases — cryptographically proven.
The significance, tying back to your Coldcard/Coinkite entropy work: the person who wrote the RNG code now implicated in the vulnerability, under the "switck" alias, is the same person (Gray) who — per James O'Beirne's post in Image 3 — reportedly shrugged off O'Beirne's May 2025 report of the defect.
I think I'm going to pretend I lost my tiny Bitcoin stack in the Coldcard crash, buy a MacBook Pro M5, and stop torturing myself.
I'm going to trust that it will produce so much more in return that it would be foolish to keep it locked away as "generational wealth" while living in total scarcity in the present.

# The Coldcard Rupture as Eclipse Overture
With South Node just entering Leo and an Aquarius Full Moon conjunct Pluto opposing the Sun–Jupiter cazimi in Leo, many astrologers have been pointing toward a public falling out with world leaders—or prominent figures in any field.
The deeper story may be even bigger than that.
It's about the relocation of authority itself.
**July 26** — the nodes shifted onto the Leo/Aquarius axis for the first time in nineteen years. The South Node points toward what we're releasing: authority concentrated in one radiant name. The North Node points toward what we're evolving into: authority distributed into protocol and independently verifiable process.
The last time the nodes stood here was 2007–2009—the runway into the global financial crisis, and the window that produced the Bitcoin whitepaper and the genesis block. Bitcoin was born under a North Node in Aquarius. One nodal cycle later, the axis returns, and one of self-custody's deepest assumptions is tested from the inside.
**July 29, 8:35 a.m. PT** — Jupiter cazimi in Leo.
**10:35 a.m. PT** — Full Moon at 6°30' Aquarius conjunct Pluto retrograde and Juno retrograde.
That same day, more than a thousand Bitcoin addresses were swept after seeds generated under flawed entropy became guessable. Galaxy Research is tracking 1,158.81 BTC across 2,673 addresses as of August 1—roughly $75 million, and climbing.
One interpretation could be this.
The cazimi is in Leo. So is the South Node. Jupiter is inflating exactly the material marked for release.
Cazimi means *in the heart of the Sun*—a place of extraordinary dignity, where something is brought into the center of the light.
In this case, the symbolism isn't that the flaw was dignified.
It's that the flaw existed at the very heart of one of the most trusted names in self-custody—hidden precisely where almost everyone assumed the foundation was strongest.
A failure at the center of its own throne.
Juno is the covenant—the binding agreement, and the power hidden inside "just trust me."
(In mythology Juno is Jupiter's wife—faithful to a husband who cheated on her endlessly. Here they sit exactly opposite. He is *cazimi*, hidden inside the Sun's glare, his misalignment unlit. She is at the Full Moon, fully illuminated, conjunct Pluto.)
Pluto conjunct Juno means she can no longer *not* face it. And retrograde—so she isn't discovering a stranger's betrayal. She's re-reading the terms of a marriage she already made.
These users upheld their side flawlessly: air-gapped, seed never entered a networked device, coins untouched for years.
Yet the covenant still broke.
Juno retrograde reads the agreement backward and reveals the condition no one realized they had accepted: a March 2021 change that routed seed generation away from the hardware randomness chip.
Conjunct Pluto, a covenant isn't renegotiated.
It's regenerated.

The timeline has a tell. Coldcard firmware was GPLv3 until 2020, when Coinkite added a Commons Clause—readable, not forkable. They stopped calling it open source and started calling it "verifiable." The code was never hidden.
But "many eyes" was never about permission to look.

In response to this collective crisis, and perhaps this is where the North Node in Aquarius begins revealing itself—not through the exploit, but through the ecosystem's response.
The call of Aquarius is not *trust better*.
It's *stop needing to trust*.
Watch how fast that's already showing up.
Within a day, Core Lightning developer Dusty Daemon—with no connection to Coinkite—went through the commit history himself and published exactly what happened. The commit that introduced the bug changed 1,534 lines of code and carried a five-character message.
The word "runs."
A second contributing commit changed roughly a thousand lines under a one-character message: "x."
That's the whole Leo failure in one word.
The code ran. It looked right. Nobody asked.
And the mechanism underneath is almost unbearable to read. The developer hit a compiler error he didn't understand, and made it go away by disabling the hardware randomness generator—which silenced the error by deleting the code that produced it. The compiler was the one guardrail in the system, and it was overridden by someone who didn't understand what he was shipping.
But look at *who* found this, and how.
Not the vendor. Not a regulator. A stranger reading a public repository, publishing openly, within twenty-four hours.
Block—a competitor—disclosed privately and gave Coinkite time to patch before going public. Galaxy mapped the attacker's on-chain fingerprint and updated its analysis in the open as the count rose. Independent researchers ran frontier models across the same code and confirmed it themselves. Teams across the industry are now doing the same across every wallet repository, continuously, before an attacker does.
Nobody was in charge of this. Block owed Coinkite nothing—the norm held without anyone enforcing it. There was no authority to appeal to, and nobody waited for one.
That *is* the Aquarian form: coordination without a center. Verification that doesn't route through trust in a name, doesn't ask permission, and doesn't stop.
Aquarius doesn't distribute virtue. It distributes capability, and it arms every side at once.
What can no longer survive is anything that was only ever taken on faith.

A solar eclipse is a New Moon amplified: a beginning, a seed planted in the dark. But this one falls in the sign being *released*, and that changes what it starts. It doesn't initiate the new structure. It initiates the *dismantling* — a process of subtraction that will run for months.
Mercury and Jupiter join it in Leo. Jupiter magnifies, Mercury broadcasts. So the Leo material doesn't quietly recede. It goes loud, public, spectacular on the way out. Expect the most inflated version of a story to arrive immediately before it collapses.
Twenty degrees Leo is also the Regulus zone — the Heart of the Lion, the king-making star, whose classical warning is that its gifts are conditional on not abusing power, and whose fall is total.
**August 28 — lunar eclipse in Pisces.**
A Full Moon amplified: culmination and release, the tide going out. Pisces is dissolution — no boundaries, no defense, no clear edges. The portal doesn't close with a decision. It closes with a loss of form.
The pairing is the whole instruction. Leo begins the dismantling; Pisces dissolves what was holding it in place. Together they don't produce resolution. They produce permeability. Structures already thin lose their walls entirely, and the mood is grief and disorientation rather than clarity.
Which means: what comes apart in this window is not meant to be reassembled in the next one. The rebuilding comes later, on the other side of the fog.
Not the death of sovereignty.
The end of sovereignty-as-spectacle and trust-as-blind-vow.
The self as one verifiable node among many, and covenants we can actually read.

A mother dies. A daughter is born. Thousands lose their life savings. Trust is broken. A divided community unites. It's a sad day, everyone finding their way to make sense of it all. The collective gains perspective. Verification is being redefined and more widely distributed. Personal responsibility takes on a deeper meaning, and so do its implications. This could take a moment to sink in before we embody it. We're only standing at the doorway. Will we find the courage to enter with greater conviction, but wiser in our steps? This all could be good for Bitcoin in the end, if we seize this moment of tough lessons that can ultimately be looked back on as a giant blessing in disguise.
