17 years ago today, the Genesis Block was mined. A quiet revolution began. Since discovering Bitcoin, I've been fortunate to learn from brilliant minds who've shaped my understanding. On this anniversary, I want to express gratitude to those who've lit the path: Technical understanding - For teaching me how this thing actually works. @ODELL @Marty Bent Decentralisation - For showing me why distributed systems aren't just technically superior, they're morally necessary. @Jeff Booth Money - For helping me see that money isn't what we've been told it is, and understanding its true nature changes everything. @Lyn Alden @jack mallers Nostr - For building and believing in open protocols, proving that decentralised social media isn't just possible, it's inevitable. @Derek Ross @The Daniel 🖖 @jb55 @fiatjaf @Vitor Pamplona Philosophy - For connecting the dots between individual sovereignty and why Bitcoin matters beyond the price. @Gigi The power of media - For demonstrating that narrative shapes reality, and controlling our own channels of communication is freedom itself. @Kudzai Kutukwa @AZA_21m @Tomek ⚡ K Building a Bitcoin business - For proving it's possible to build circular economy businesses and contribute value to the ecosystem while earning a living. @Ben Justman🍷 @Oshi (推し) @SoapMiner Power of memes - For understanding that ideas spread through a well-crafted meme does more than a thousand words. @corndalorian Privacy and security - For teaching me that privacy isn't about hiding, it's about dignity and human rights. @GHOST @calle To everyone who's shared knowledge freely, built in the open, and stayed true to the principles: thank you.

Big Pharma steps up it's game as the English fight back against vaccinations. Can't make it to your doctor? Not to worry. They'll just turn up at your door. From Friday, children will receive a new MMRV vaccine, designed to protect against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox. It replaces MMR and offers protection against chickenpox for the first time. In England, 91.9 per cent of five-year-olds received one dose of the MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccine, against the 95 per cent figure said to achieve herd immunity. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/12/31/children-vaccination-visits-homes/?WT.mc_id=tmgoff_fb_photo

Consumer culture at its finest. It's Jan 1st. The shop isn't open. The service they offer is already the best for this year. image
