its cool that damus shows me exactly why a payment failed… would be cool if it offered to open a channel when this happens

watching spammers get ip banned in realtime has been entertaining to watch. I think it would be even better if i added noteguard admin controls directly to damus ios/android so i can ip ban spammers on the go. View quoted note →

this is the smoothest damus we've ever released. testflight is open to all!

damus relay should now be one of the least spammed relays. We aggressively ip ban people who try to write too many notes too fast. Feel free to add it to your relay list again if you’ve had trouble with spam there in the past!

claude is building me some pretty advanced anti spam defenses. i’m hooking up noteguard into the cloudflare api so it can ip ban spammers so they cant even get to the relay. Bwahaha

fuck you damus airdrop dipshit. if you hit our rate limit too many times you now get ip banned for 1 hour. cheers fuckface

10MB per minute should be generous enough for a relay right ?

i may be able to afford my server again after this. no more huge bandwidth charges (it will be higher than 2000bytes/min... this is just a test) ;)
