Looked at the ten year Bitcoin price chart the other day. Not in log scale, just the regular old chart. That’s what monetization looks like

Occasionally I’ll worry that chess.com is gonna sell my game history to some cognitive analytics firm that’ll figure out some way to one-shot me, then I remember I’m just a normal guy

Some heavy hitters @Danny Knowles Great discussion fellas. We certainly are living in fast times. I thought the looks ahead to the possibility of a permanent underclass weren’t really looks ahead, honestly. A lot of 20- and 30-somethings in the US would tell you we’re already there. It’s going to be funny someday to say, “Yeah, we used to just zap each other like 1,000 sats for shitposts. Wasn’t that much money in those days!” the same way my parents say “I made $20,000 a year in 1983; that was a lot of money in those days!” It’ll be funny to have experienced both.

Hey @Lyn Alden next time Erik and Patrick have you on Macro Voices could you tell them I want to remake their intro? Or if they ever do a live show, I’m there. I’ll even refrain from knocking the cameras over if they let me in 😆

Would be cool if this ended up being a smaller fractal of the November ‘24 to April of ‘25 air pocket refill. This one measured in weeks instead of months

If things really are gonna split into freedom-oriented Bitcoin jurisdictions and socialist fiat jurisdictions, I’m curious to see what kind of art comes out of both
