Anyone want to take odds that Charlie Kirk’s Jack Steven/Dave Dave moment will see him at the mic at a Turning Point event? lol

If peace is coming, what do you need to do to be ready?
The idea that all speech is sacred is unique to the first amendment, which was written by the victors after they had just successfully won a Revolutionary War and gained power using it.
In other words it is extremely rare that people in power can thank unrestricted speech for how they got their power… it seems to have happened exactly once in history
The rest of the time, power is maintained by restricting speech.
Obviously I love that we value free speech but it’s important to recognize how rare and precious it is. It is not a self-evident right like life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. It is one of the tools a bunch of renegades used 250 years ago and we get to have it today (other tools included an armed populace)

Lmao

This body armor nonsense seems like a concerted effort to address the baffling physics of the footage that you see when you slow it down. This is “magic bullet” stuff. But they need a narrative angle acceptably inside the Overton window that can catch everyone who is willing to inspect the footage from recognizing the truth.
As someone who makes media, who works with VFX artists to create believable shots of violence, my personal analysis is that these clips (particularly the close up hero money shot) are fabricated. I see all the same hallmark imperfections that we go back and forth asking ourselves “okay, yes, but will the audience notice? Will they care? Is this good enough?”
No I don’t have answers to everything this implies. But when you spot fakery at the heart of something like this, you have to question the event as a whole.

So they found him. I predict they will tell us that they could have found him faster if our law enforcement organizations all pay for access to an AI threat detection platform built by former Israeli defense experts (like they did after the most recent trans shooter)

When you use a geohash on bitchat, is that geohash plain text in the Nostr message you relay? I suppose it is, along with your message. But your identity is quite anonymous?
The local police in my hometown recently caught a man who stole a bunch of copper from a construction site. They stitched together surveillance footage from a bunch of sources and followed him home. They got the copper back.
If you really believe they can’t catch Charlie Kirk’s shooter, I cannot help you.
It’s always surprising to me how many people who are otherwise very skeptical of the media and people in power still can’t fathom the idea that large scale crisis events are often totally faked
I’m reminded of a poll back on Bitcoin twitter where fully half of Bitcoiners thought the Will Smith slap was “real”
As I said at the time, if you can’t at least consider the possibility that an ACTOR… slapping… another ACTOR… on a stage… in front of an audience… full of ACTORA… on live tv… right before he won an award for being… the best ACTOR… in the entire world, that year…
If you can’t see the possibility that that world-class ACTOR might have been… ACTING… then I really, really can’t help you…
Just for reference: A society that can generate this video clip in seconds for pennies can easily generate the footage we all saw yesterday. We all need to be a LOT more skeptical of sensational “photographic evidence”

Listened recently to a speech by Adolus Huxley from the 1960s about mind control advances. Everyone remembers Pavlov ringing a bell, but conveniently forgets his primary finding - that fear creates behavioral control better than any other trigger.
