Nostr is really growing on me lately.

My secret ingredient for deep umami flavoured stews: Black trumpet mushroom spice. Really easy to make: Just find them (they are very rare), dry them and grind them. Lasts for decades if kept dry! #foodstr

We could never forgive ourselves if we covered this floor (which my great grandfather put down in 1959) with laminate or parquet. So we decided to attack it with some real grind💪 Lets see if we can bring it’s beauty back to life.

I estimate this bridge saves me about 30 hours this winter, compared to hauling the logs over the next closest bridge. It will also save me about 30 minutes every time I move the cows from one side of the stream to the other, which is four times a year. Thats 2 more hours. Built a bridge today.

Finished with the second forest plot for the year. Bridge building next up, and then wait for some minus degrees and snow before I start hauling it out💪

I got lucky this time… Next time I’m punching it into steel just in case.
