Does anyone ever go down obscure learning pathways? In years past, when I would try to pick up bits of a language, I would suddenly find myself going down a wild adventure on Wikipedia or elsewhere and would then decide to learn some outdated script or obscure dialect. For example, I visited Vietnam for the first time maybe decade ago and decided to start learning about the history of its language. I discovered Chữ Nôm and really wanted to find some resources to learn that script. Mind, I hardly knew any Vietnamese, so knowing characters for a language I didn't speak made little sense. I mean, the only real reasons to do that would be to geek out for fun AND get some nerd street cred.

I've been trying to use Olas on and off, but it never seems to work properly. Photos take forever to load. Old content gets stuck at the top of the feed. etc Today, I tried Unfiltered from the Zapstore. It works out of the box. Guess I have my new Nostr photo app now!

Maybe I'm just an overindulged modern, but does anyone else think that these meal prep serving sizes look way too small? Perhaps the protein helps to fill you up fast, but I fear I'd be way too hungry after this. I'm maybe only 20-30 minutes into @npub16p7u...cmt7's first episode on psychopathic rulers, but he does a great job of distinguishing between psychopathy and psychosis. I'll definitely finish this episode and the follow-up he's released just recently. However, I thought those interested in such topics might enjoy a few other, related books that I'm currently working through: 1. 5 Types of People Who Can Ruin Your Life Bill Eddy, a social worker, defines what Narcissists and Sociopaths are and goes on to explain his own category of 'High-Conflict Personalities'. He's built something of a career on defining this HCP category and teaching others how to deal with them
