Purging the things that don’t serve you anymore & having a period of solitude is essential if you want to create a better life for yourself

Picking up your woman & spinning her around a few times with a smile on your face will make her happier than you think.

Get crystal clear on what you want in life. Otherwise you’ll do what everyone else is doing.

There were so many stories I made up in my head about why I couldn’t achieve this or that. “I’m just a poker player, I can’t create good content.” “I can’t have an optimized and healthy body, only he or she can.” “I can’t learn how to fight, that’s only for certain types of guys.” The list goes on. I kept myself unnecessarily in a state of fear and worry. I now know it’s possible to break free of the fears and live in a state of peace, love, joy, & abundance. You can achieve anything you want in life. Start that project you’ve always wanted to. Go for a long walk outside. Go say hi to that man or woman you’re drawn to. Get rid of the stories. Get rid of the limiting beliefs. Break free.

Men are happiest when they’re building something. Women are happiest when love is flowing abundantly in their life.

True change begins when you forgive the people who hurt you, and thank them for the lessons they taught you.

Have you ever noticed whatever you chase repels you? Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of detachment. Improve yourself consistently, let go of the whatever outcome is in your head, and it will all come right to you.

Don’t compare yourself to others. It’s a fools errand. True strength comes from knowing who you are at the depth of your core. Be authentically you

It’s always going to be easier to point the finger at somebody else for what’s happening in your life. Instead of looking in the mirror and coming to terms with the fact that you’ve created all of it.

As I wandered through these magical sequoia trees for several hours, I couldn’t help but get inspired by what I was seeing & think of these metaphors for our human experience: - Sunshine, fresh air, and a loving community can lead to a very prosperous and long life - It’s easy to get bypassed if you’re average. Stand tall in your uniqueness and people will adore you - You can still be extremely beautiful when you’re old and have wrinkles - It’s okay to shed layers of yourself that are dead & no longer useful - You can recover multiple times from being burned - It can take a long time to be one of the greats.
