I never thought this day would come, but it makes me so happy knowing I will never enter another poker tournament again. I have really grown to dislike poker and everything that the game stands for.
Cheers to releasing what no longer serves us and focusing on building things we truly love.
I’ve been posting content consistently for a little over a year now and it’s been deeply healing to have a space to share some of my thoughts and what I’ve learned throughout my life.
It’s also been really nice to reflect about some of the things I’ve said so I can see my own blind spots which will allow me to heal these and ultimately show up in the world with more humility and respect.
I am constantly striving to do my best everyday and be a beacon of light in this world with the intention of changing people’s lives from the inside out. Much love all.
Hosting people for a private 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 retreats has been incredibly satisfying and enjoyable for both myself and the guests.
Excited to continue to share these and expand it further to larger group retreats next year.
The power and impact they have is massive.
After years of sitting playing poker staying up until the late hours in the night, I’ve discovered a passion for moving my body in various ways: surfing, yoga, functional patterns, pilates, calisthenics, jiu jitsu, ecstatic dance, etc.
I also love teaching various styles of meditation, therapeutic yoga, and ultimately giving people an experience that is deeply meaningful and impactful.
But there is no way I can do what I do if not for the hours I spend by myself in nature. I believe 3-6 hours by yourself is an amazing thing to do at least once a week, and aiming for some time daily when it fits your schedule. My time out there helps me reflect on conversations, my behavior, the way I show up in the world, and gives me the space for new creative ideas to come to me. I have had intense moments of laughter and crying during my longer sessions that has been deeply healing for my nervous system and overall well-being, helping me remember what the important things in life truly are.
Spend hours by yourself in nature on a regular basis. It will help you recharge in a profound way. I really can’t recommend it enough.
Gratitude isn’t found in the future.
It’s found in what’s already here.
Fresh air.
Sunshine.
Your breath.
Your body.
The people you love.
Be here for it.
Chasing money and status for the sake of it leads to emptiness.
Pursuing purpose & genuine service to others leads to fulfillment and lasting joy.
Pay attention to the decisions that feel uncomfortable but also 100% right.
Those are usually the ones that change your life.
If you’re making a big life decision and aren’t sure what to do, stay still. Do nothing. Just wait and listen.
Allow yourself to feel into it.
The answer will come to you.
I’m teaching yoga on Monday and meditation on Tuesday next week and it lights me up thinking about it.
Two powerful practices that have changed my life and now getting the opportunity to share my unique approach with others.
Discovering your purpose is so powerful.
It’s crazy how when one health thing goes wrong, nothing else matters and all you want is to be healthy again.
Health truly is wealth.
