The key is to stay deeply connected to your life’s purpose while simultaneously becoming immune to the opinions of others who haven’t achieved what you want.

It’s pretty wild that I’m sitting here in Costa Rica looking at an iguana while typing this message and people in at least 5 continents around the world will read this. And it’s impossible for the message to be taken down. Sometimes it’s nice to zoom out and marvel at the amazing technological advancements we’ve made as a species. Pura Vida.

Don’t put extra pressure on yourself to perform well. Instead relax, breathe, disconnect, and take it easy. Allow your mind to settle. Watch your performance increase.

Bear markets are for building. Build your body, mind, discipline, and concentration. Investing in yourself will always pay off. Become the person you know you are capable of becoming.

If you truly want to be free, the only person you should ever try to impress is yourself. Make yourself proud.

Success doesn’t happen in a straight line. Embrace the volatility. Learn from your failures. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. Become resilient to anything and you’ll become unstoppable.

Community is an underrated part of being successful today. It’s tough to have a bad life when you have thriving relationships and are surrounded by incredible people.

Undoubtedly the thing that has changed my life the most is going to retreats centered around nature, music, getting healthy, reducing stress, laughing, and being around great people with amazing vibes. In a world that is increasingly getting digital and based around AI slop, having a network of like-minded people that you’re close with who you can build real communities and projects with is what will be valuable. Real & authentic is the way.

Feeling grateful for everything.

One of the biggest realizations in my life is nothing outside of you can bring you peace & lasting joy. It literally has to come from within yourself. If you seek external things like trophies, money, or romantic relationships to bring you joy, you are placing an impossible demand on them that will never satisfy you. Choose relationships & activities from a place of already being joyous in your life, not for you to all of the sudden become joyous because of it.

To become successful in life, the key is to help other people become successful in life. Find a problem you really love to solve and become world class at solving it. You’ll become internally fulfilled, externally abundant, and the world will become a better place. It’s a win all around.

My theory on people who leave hateful comments on the internet is very simply they are not receiving the love they desire in their life. So they choose to project their pain outwards at strangers online instead of dealing with it themselves. It’s a sad thing in reality. I typically respond with “sending love your way” and I’ve found it to be effective, because it’s what they need and it’s coming from a genuine place. Be kind. You never know what someone is going through deep down.

If you want to be extraordinary, you will look extra to somebody ordinary. Keep going anyways.

Your best ideas will likely come to you when you are doing nothing. Relax, breathe, disconnect, and take off the pressure. Then go from there.

Confidence comes from taking action and doing the things that slightly scare you, not waiting for it to show up one day. Take action. It builds confidence & creates clarity for what you enjoy.
