Good luck ever trying to organise an uprising or revolt with the state actively monitoring everyone's communication devices. A planned, necessary step so there is no space for dissent. Soon, people will start getting dragged off in the middle of the night. Neighbours will gossip about how they were being racist, the media will gaslight by repeatedly signalling how this is a good thing to keep the kids safe, while those rascal migrants do as they please. The state is apparently justified in their use of violence against the individual, but because you thought it was to extreme to hang them, now you won't even be able to speak. And when it does kick off, people will go after the migrants instead of the people who actively work to bring them to your cities.
