My concern with all these violent events getting so much attention in the UK and Ireland recently is that these are being surface inorganically in order for the state to cease more power. Problem (violent event) -> reaction (violent response) -> reaction (more government control over the population) The reaction from protesters seems to generally target innocent people rather than the state and those directly responsible.
