AI companies are pushing hard for people to believe their products will have some degree of consciousness, pointing to mechanisms they cannot define or explain in any meaningful capacity. Consciousness is fundamental. All the body does is tune a signal, it's a receiver. The antenna is water, which is why anything and everything that is alive requires water. Machines and codes have no biological structure (no mechanism to structure the water) and of course no water. They will work to mimic consciousness to an exceptional degree over time, but it will never be the real thing.
