As you can see we have rapid exponential cooling of Bitcoin from a T=1 genesis; its first 100k blocks form a nice curve with little deviation from the temperature floor due to early chain fee market. It’s forming an asymptote approaching fees/21M with step downs precisely at the halving blocks. The floor for block i is defined as the subsidy_i / total supply_i I need to recheck the fee data as I can see some block fees are being calculated as negative and producing temperature values below the floor.
