I dont know, maybe I'll try to switch my gentoo setup to nixos... I dont like the idea of managing system on another layer of abstraction over the hackable unix-like mess of config files. Being messy is a linux-desktop necessity, and living in the dirty low-level config setups make you able to fix things all the time, everytime with a lower effort. Whats your experience with nixos? #asknostr

as a thinkpad x200 hardcore user, its time to upgrade and finally have some work done instead of just nerding on my gentoo/kernel configs to have it running as a modern pc. I bought a thinkpad t480, my x200 will become a bitcoin/cln/nostr node. Expect some vibe coded shit in next months.

#asknostr do you know pass, the unix password-store? It works encrypting each password in simple text files using PGP, and use git to sync with other machines. It has also extensions for OTP and its available on pretty every platform, I use it syncing from android to linux committing on a remote master git repo. Now...
