The urge to build a mini rack in my basement, again, intensities... I had one from 2007-2016 and got rid of it when things needed to be replaced and upgraded. But now with the current AI craze, I want to take a look around eBay and see what's available...

Before Anthropic launched Claude Cowork, I was using a poor man's version of Cowork, not knowing what I was creating, beyond a tool I made to help me with my new full time position at Soapbox. A week ago, it consisted of a bunch of open source tools, bash scripts, python scripts, and Obsidian. I demoed this during my last vibe coding jam session and everyone loved it. Light bulb. I needed to make this easy for everyone to use, not just technical people. I started working on it and a couple days later Claude Cowork was announced. 😩 However, that didn't discourage me. I decided to rebuild everything. I decided to rebuild everything and make it truly open, and make it FOSS. #OpenCode I've been using it for several days now and it works great for me. It works on Linux, Windows, and MacOS. It's almost ready for beta access. Oh and one more thing. There's Nostr integration too 💜
